The firework had really hit him right in the head. Between his eyes was the worse of it, the flesh torn open and bloody, muscle showing. Then was his left eye. The socket was empty and raw leaving very little to the imagination of what was behind it. The skin about and below it was raw and red from the burn, some blood seemed to trickle into the socket but he chose not to worry about it despite the way the hole twitched to try and close. The scar up his cheek was split where it connected through his eye. The new scar overlapping with the old.
