Krysten Ritter is an American actress, writer, musician, and former model, best known for her roles as Jane Margolis in Breaking Bad and as the titular character in Jessica Jones. She was born on December 16, 1981, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and was discovered as a model at the age of 15, signing with Elite Model Management and Wilhelmina Models.

She later transitioned into acting, appearing in projects such as Veronica Mars, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. She is also a singer and guitarist for the band Ex Vivian. Krysten Ritter is 5 ft 9 in (175 cm) tall, weighs approximately 57 kg (126 lbs), and has a slim build with black hair and green eyes.

She has German, English, and Scottish ancestry. She was in a long-term relationship with musician Adam Granduciel, with whom she has a son, born in 2019. Besides acting, she has also worked as a producer, director, and writer. Her net worth is estimated to be around $8 million.
