Amidst a vast ocean-covered world, Gargantia, a floating fleet-city, drifts peacefully under endless skies. The young pilot Ledo, a soldier from a far-off space-faring civilization, is stranded after a battle with the alien Hideauze. Adjusting to life among the fleet’s resourceful but primitive inhabitants, he discovers a simpler, more human existence.
