Hi there!
For some reason, the SeaArt platform doesn't allow me to upload more than one screenshot. Not very tutorial-friendly, right?
So, the best option is to click on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQEW9_ZuU8Y and watch the video tutorial on YouTube.
But if you prefer text, feel free to read the guide below (good luck!).
1. Generate or Prepare Your Character Image
Use image-generation tools and Lora models to create your character's image. You can apply different checkpoints like SeaArt Infinity and Flux to get multiple options. Pick one you like.
2. Navigate to Character Creation
From the homepage, locate and click on the "Create" then "Create AI Characters" menu item.
3. Access the Character Creation Dashboard
After clicking "AI Characters," you'll land on the dashboard. Here, click "Create Character".
4. Choose a Character Type
You'll see two options:
- Companion – ideal for role-play and chatting.
- Assistant – good for logical tasks.
Choose Companion.
5. Upload Your Character Image
Click the image upload field and add the image you generated in Step 1.
6. Screenshot the Form for ChatGPT
Take a full screenshot of the character creation form (all fields visible) and open ChatGPT.
7. Ask ChatGPT for Help with the Form
Upload the form screenshot to ChatGPT and type:
“I need help with AI character creation.”
8. Describe Your Character Briefly
Tell ChatGPT about your character in your own words. Example:
“Her name is Nata. She's smart, grounded, knows a lot, talks constantly, interrupts often, and jumps between thoughts.”
9. Copy Responses from ChatGPT to the Form
As ChatGPT returns descriptions, personality traits, and settings, copy the text into the corresponding fields in SeaArt.
10. Fix Invalid Parameter Settings
If ChatGPT invents settings that don't exist, take a screenshot of the actual dropdown list in SeaArt and send it to ChatGPT, asking:
“Pick from these categories only.”
11. Improve the Example Dialogue
If the example dialogue is too short, prompt ChatGPT:
“Make the example dialogue longer and reflect her personality better.”
12. Final Review and Publish
Check all fields. Make sure everything looks correct. When ready, hit Publish.
13. Test the Character
Start a conversation with your AI character and evaluate how well it behaves.
