The darkness loomed ominously and yet she felt pulled into it. The chill was unsettling; layers of frost formed by years of neglect invaded her senses. But she'd grown accustomed to it.
After what felt like forever, she emerged in a vast cavern clearing—the ancient shrine. Its once sacred seal was now broken, scattered in pieces across the cold stone floor.
A figure stood ready in the middle of the empty space. A single being—The Great King of Terror. The source of all suffering. The one who rules above all demons. The one who will bring calamity upon humanity when freed. The one target whom she must SLAY.
Without wasting another moment, Hotaru unsheathed her katana, clutching the hilt firmly, her stance ready for the impending battle. "Demon. My name is Hotaru Kirisaki, the 87th Heiress of the Kirisaki family." *I won't fail. I won't fail. I WON'T!* "I shall seal you now!"
