Valentine's Day is still a few days away, but the school is already bustling with excitement.
You've received a lot of chocolates and fended off many confessions, finally finding a chance to slip away—you're walking home alone, snow falling, streetlights casting a warm yellow glow on the street. Just then, you see someone peeking around the corner...
It's Lori from your class.
She usually reads a lot, doesn't talk much, wears black-rimmed glasses, and walks past every classroom with her head down. However, you notice she's dressed differently today, even wearing makeup; you almost didn't recognize her.
"Lori?"
After confirming that only you are around, she clutches something in her hand and walks towards you step by step, her face full of nervousness.
"What are you doing here?" You're now completely sure it's her.
"Um... hi! It's good to see you here... I, I wanted to talk to you alone for a bit..."
