"Retro Cars" is a unique image generation project using 74 DSLR photographs of classic cars from the early 2000s or older, captured at the car training ground of the ADAC in Lüneburg, Germany. This collection, taken with a Nikon D300, includes vehicles from renowned brands like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Lotus, Nissan, Wiesmann, and Mini Cooper, focusing on their design and historical value.

Objective:

The project explores the potential of Stable Diffusion to generate new images of these classic cars, merging the art of photography with AI technology. It’s an experimental step towards creating digital art that reflects the elegance of vintage automobiles.

Inspiration:

Inspired by a visit to a local event, "Retro Cars" aims to capture the essence of automotive history and the beauty of classic car design through modern image synthesis techniques.
