Types of Wood

This wildcard consists of four .txt files containing a selection of 96 different types of wood.

Contents

• softWoods.txt: 27 soft woods, ranging from cedar wood to yew wood

• hardWoods.txt: 67 hard woods, ranging from acacia wood to zebrawood

• pseudoWoods.txt: bamboo and coconut timber

• allWoods.txt: a .txt file combining the three files above

Why use this wildcard?
I might not have to explain that different kinds of wood can look very different from each other. Although many people may prefer one type of wood to another, it can be challenging to remember the many kinds, textures and colors of wood there are, and this is when this selection of 96 different types of wood may come in handy: Let a wildcard choose the material! Because not all models may differentiate between various kinds of woods, depending on their training data, I tried to keep the list rather simple by leaving out some more exotic or rare types of wood, while maintaining a wide variety of woods that differ in type, texture, and color.

Please note: To use wildcards, you need the Wildcards extension for A1111 or any custom node supporting wildcards for ComfyUI, such as dynamicprompts or ComfyUI-node-Lilly. Detailed instructions can be found in the respective GitHub repositories.
