Love is patient, gracious is. Love does not envy, it does not seek applause, it does not boast; 5 does not behave indecently, it does not seek its own, it does not become angry, it does not remember evil; 6 nie cieszy się z niesprawiedliwości, but rejoices with the truth. 7 It bears all things, it believes all things, it hopes in all things, it endures all things. 8 Love never fails, [is not] jak proroctwa, which will end, or like the gift of tongues, which will vanish, or like knowledge, which will be lacking. 9 For in part we know, in part we prophesy. 10 Gdy zaś przyjdzie to, that which is perfect, it will vanish, that which is only partial. 11 Gdy byłem dzieckiem, mówiłem jak dziecko, I felt like a child, I thought like a child. When I became a man, wyzbyłem się tego, that which is childish. 12 Teraz widzimy jakby w zwierciadle, unclear; then [zobaczymy] face to face: Now I know in part, then poznam tak, jak i zostałem poznany*. 13 Tak* so faith endures, Hope, love - these three: of these, however, the greatest is love.
