the Ark was made of acacia wood and coated in pure gold, both internally and externally. It was approximately 1.25 meters long, 75 centimeters wide and 75 centimeters high. The Ark of the Covenant had a profound religious significance for the Israelites. It was considered the place where God dwelt and the symbol of the covenant between God and the people of Israel.
