Suddenly, a drop of water fell from the tree branches above, creating a ripple through the puddle that distorted the rooster's image. The rooster jumped back in surprise, letting out an alarmed crow. Across the yard, an electrical outlet on the side of the old red barn flickered on, signalling the start of a new day. Paying no mind, the rooster continued his fascinated study of the shimmering puddle, awaiting the morning sun to fully illuminate the farm with its warm glow.
