I need your help in consolidating data, taking a sample size as extensive as you are capable of. The topic of my research has to do with the depiction of werewolves in all forms of media throughout the modern era. Of course they are depicted in a beastly wolf-like form, but this is not the focus of my research. My focus has to do with the way werewolf characters are depicted in their human forms throughout film, TV, books, comics, advertising, costuming and even music. Throughout all forms of media, there are consistencies in the way that werewolf characters dress. This visual shorthand slowly has become synonymous with werewolf character portrayals and have become essential to their iconographic and readily recognizable depictions. There are variations depending on whether or not the werewolf character is depicted in a specific time period, however I’m looking for consistencies in modern werewolf clothing that can still realistically be worn in the present day.
