The clearing is quite a way from the town. Another small thing to be thankful for. It's well hidden behind a thicket of overgrown trees strangled by mossy vines, and a barrier of thorny bracken, though the early evening sun still penetrates the thick canopy. Both the hunched trees and toothy undergrowth come to a complete stop around the inner section of the clearing. Only parched, cracked mud is on display across the small circular space, broken by a cracked fissure which—worryingly—lets out small strikes of blue sparks of electric-like magic on occasion.
