The increase in CO2 and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is causing concerns about major climate changes that may occur during the next century. The combustion of fossil fuels produces pollutants, especially CO2 and other greenhouse gases like methane, nitrogen oxide, CFCs, and ozone.
