MarvelousMaleMix is an homage to the beloved MatureMaleMix, tailored specifically for near-photorealistic animations using AnimateDiff V3. This checkpoint excels in delivering detailed and lifelike male imagery, perfect for animating your digital creations.

Note: Still images won't come out the same as animations, even with the same seed.

Why I Made It

MarvelousMaleMix bridges the gap between stunning realism and fluid animation. Inspired by MatureMaleMix, which has aged like fine wine, this model offers a more photorealistic touch for animations without replacing its predecessor. I needed something more photo-like for animations using AnimateDiff V3.

This model is especially good at handling textual inversion and LoRAs, providing consistent results across various animations and visual projects.

While MarvelousMaleMix excels in male ???????, it struggles with female forms. The model’s focus on realism can sometimes produce less-than-ideal backgrounds, leaning too heavily on perfection. It's best to tweak negative prompts for better control.

🎵 If you go, you know I'll be lost. 🎵

MarvelousMaleMix isn’t a game changer by any means. It’s just a good checkpoint for animating men and using base model trained LoRAs on. AnimateDiff tends to struggle with LoRA weights trained after the motion module was trained, leading to the 'ken doll' effect or weird interpretations of anatomical details, especially with circumcised glans.

To get the best out of MarvelousMaleMix, begin with these settings and experiment from there:

- Resolution: 512x768 to 768x1024 (Higher than 768 or 1024 can be weird)

- Sampler: DPM++ 2M Karras or DPM++ 3M SDE Exponential

- Scheduler (ComfyUI): SGMUniform

- Steps: 35-60

- CFG: 3.5-8 (optimal around 6)

- Denoising Strength: 0.35-0.4

- Hires Steps: 15-20

- Upscaler: 4x_NMKD-Siax_200k

- VAE: baked

- Positive Prompt:

(masterpiece), ???? man, (?????, ?????????:1.1), athletic physique, [action or setting], pectorals, abs, ethereal, candid shot, dreamwave, aesthetic, abstract background

The most important tokens are (?????, ?????????:1.1) and (for abstract) dreamwave, aesthetic

- Embeddings (Textual Inversion): Use an age or gender slider TI to tweak the manliness of the subjects (this also opens up femboys or t-girls if that's up your alley)

For best ??????? detail and overall realism, consider using the AfterDetailer extension, which can add an extra touch of precision to your compositions.
