Nicole Kidman, born on June 20, 1967, in Honolulu, Hawaii, is a highly acclaimed American-Australian actress and producer. She is renowned for her versatility in film and television, with a career spanning over four decades. Kidman grew up in Sydney, Australia, where her passion for acting flourished. She studied at institutions like the Victorian College of the Arts and the Australian Theatre for Young People, honing her skills in drama and mime.

She made her film debut in the Australian movie Bush Christmas (1983) and gained international recognition with Dead Calm (1989). Her Hollywood breakthrough came with Days of Thunder (1990). Over the years, she has delivered celebrated performances in movies like Moulin Rouge! (2001), The Hours (2002)—which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress—and Big Little Lies (2017–2019), which garnered multiple awards, including an Emmy.
