Touch of Grain [SDXL]

Touch of Grain is a bold style LoRA trained on my own Sony A7III photography, using a combination of high-ISO shots and hand-edited images with added film grain in Lightroom. The base dataset partly overlaps with Touch of Realism V2 and Touch of Vintage Glow, but is enriched with more grainy, textured photos to create a distinctive analog look.

This LoRA was specifically requested by creators working on Fanvue, Instagram, and OF models, looking to add a realistic, grainy vibe to their photosets and selfies. About this LoRA

This LoRA brings a natural, visible grain effect to your SDXL generations, adding character, texture and vintage warmth to any image. Perfect for creators who want to move away from overly smooth AI renders and embrace the imperfections and depth of real photography.

✦ Adds: prominent but balanced film grain, consistent texture across the image, and an organic, slightly imperfect feel that mimics classic analog photography.

✦ Best used with: portraits, selfies, vintage-style photography, natural light scenes, retro fashion, lifestyle shots, street photography, and atmospheric close-ups. Great for adding warmth and cinematic grit to otherwise clean renders.

✦ Recommended strength: start with <lora:Touch_of_Grain:0.7> and use touch-of-grain, film grain, grainy texture in your prompt. For a softer touch, lower it to 0.4–0.5. For more intense grain, go up to 0.8–0.9 depending on your base model and subject.

This LoRA is made for those who want a clear analog vibe: no plastic smoothness, just authentic texture and photo-realistic grain.

Note: Personally, I find the effect of V1 a bit heavy in some cases. V2 will likely be more balanced, though you can easily dial it back by lowering the strength setting.
