In this reinterpretation of the myth of Prometheus, the titan is transformed into a medieval alchemist who challenges the dogmas of the Church and Monarchy Discovering the "fire of knowledge". Instead of stealing fire from the gods, Prometheus steals an arcane secret that empowers humans, causing the anger of King Zeus, who condemns him to be chained in a dark fortress where a winged demon devours his flesh as eternal punishment.
