The Terran Firebat is a frontline assault specialist engineered for close-quarters incineration. Encased in heavy, flame-resistant CE-4 ‘Hellfire’ armor, Firebats wield twin wrist-mounted flamethrowers capable of unleashing intense gouts of incendiary gel that engulf enemy formations in arcs of searing fire. Their role is brutal and direct—clearing trenches, corridors, and choke points with overwhelming heat and pressure. Unlike the more versatile Marine, the Firebat is built for a singular purpose: to burn. Their armor—typically deep red with reinforced thermal shielding and fuel tanks—is designed to withstand their own fiery onslaughts as well as close-range attacks from Zerg and other biological threats. Often drawn from aggressive or psych-profiled Marines, Firebats exhibit unwavering forward momentum, relying on flame and intimidation rather than range or subtlety.
