The French use this word – vintage – to describe rare wines produced in the most successful, fruitful years. And in interior design, vintage is the furnishings of the past, usually from the late 19th - early 20th centuries. However, style is not constrained by any boundaries: if desired, you can recreate the image of a home from the 40s, 60s, and 80s... After all, vintage is a tool that allows a person to choose his own time. Its noticeable touches are natural materials (wood, ceramics, forging), a touch of antiquity on objects, black and white photographs, things “from the attic” (old records, books in worn bindings, dolls that our grandmothers may have played with), and also fresh flowers. Vintage does not impose strict requirements on finishing materials. Yes, he does not accept ultra-new technologies, but he does not ask for expensive wood and natural stone.
