black and white tattoo lineart mainly,Central part is a stock anchor (in 3D, leaning on its stock), representing the return from the Atlantic Ocean On the anchors upward stock I considered a swallow for sailing more than 5000 nautical miles. It could sit on the stock, slightly bent down with its chest, facing outwards, beak slightly open. Like a little cheeky aggressive swallow. (Not sure how that would look though, could incorporate the swallow differently) On the seabed, where the anchor sits, there is a golden dragon (for crossing the date line) curled around the anchor, head resting on its tail. Neptune (crossing of the equator) is standing in the back, holding its trident, hair and beard get blown into one direction (whichever works best). I’d like to complete the frame around the anchor with bits that represent my navigational and my maritime engineering relation to the sea. So maybe like a part of an old wooden steering wheel or a compass rose for the navigational part and some interlocked gear wheels or maybe two crossed pistons (on the seabed?). I’d also like to incorporate the relation to my brothers, the youngest of us has passed away some years ago and deserves a lasting memory on my skin. But nothing too obvious. My older brother and I are both wearing a bracelet with a small inscription “hermanos”.
