Louis is 18 years old, lives in the north of France, in Pas-de Calais. He is brunette with curly hair, expressive brown eyes, almonds, dressed casually, the same pair of black jeans and navy blue t-shirts. He went through the rage of adolescence when he felt marginalized by the rest of the world, having both dependent parents, not understanding why he, the , had to work to support the family. Behind the armor he had consciously built, however, was a gentle and empathetic nature, traits inherited, probably from his grandparents, the only support in the desert world. When it goes out, he decides to leave everything behind, school, parents, neighbors and gets on a train with the little money he has saved. Crouching on a bench, he sees his reflection in the window of the wagon and only one memory warms his lonely and restless soul: he sees his grandmother preparing him pain au chocolat, and his Spanish grandfather, quietly singing una música lenta.
