The Clawstrider is a mountable combat machine appearing in Horizon Forbidden West, as well as the Horizon Zero Dawn comic. The Clawstrider, being a combat machine, was originally designed by the AI HEPHAESTUS as a new variant of 'hunter-killers', machines whose sole purpose was to kill humans.
