Mekia Cox is an American actress and dancer best known for her role as Nyla Harper on The Rookie. Nyla is a highly skilled and experienced police officer who becomes John Nolan's (played by Nathan Fillion) partner. She is known for her no-nonsense attitude and her ability to navigate both the challenges of law enforcement and her personal life.
