Halle Berry is an acclaimed American actress born on August 14, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio. She began her career as a model and gained recognition in beauty pageants, finishing as the first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant and placing sixth in Miss World 1986. Berry's breakthrough film role came in the romantic comedy "Boomerang" (1992) alongside Eddie Murphy. She went on to star in notable films such as "The Flintstones" (1994), "Bulworth" (1998), and "Monster's Ball" (2001), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress, becoming the first African-American woman to achieve this honor.
