Nathan Fillion is a Canadian-American actor best known for his charismatic performances in television and film. He gained a devoted fanbase for his role as Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the cult sci-fi series Firefly and its film continuation Serenity. He later starred as Richard Castle in the long-running crime-comedy series Castle, and more recently as John Nolan in The Rookie, where he plays the oldest rookie in the LAPD.
