Emilie de Ravin is an Australian actress best known for her roles as Claire Littleton on Lost (2004–2010) and Tess Harding on Roswell (2000–2002). She was born on December 27, 1981, in Mount Eliza, Victoria, Australia. Before pursuing acting, she trained in ballet at Christa Cameron School of Ballet and later at The Australian Ballet School. Eventually, she studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and Prime Time Actors Studio in Los Angeles.

Standing at 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm) and weighing approximately 53 kg (117 lbs), Emilie has a slim build, natural blonde hair (which she sometimes dyes dark brown), and striking blue eyes. She has English and French ancestry.

Beyond Lost and Roswell, she has appeared in several films, including Remember Me (2010) alongside Robert Pattinson and The Hills Have Eyes (2006). She also starred as Belle in ABC’s Once Upon a Time, where she was a series regular from seasons 2 to 6.

In her personal life, Emilie was married to actor Josh Janowicz from 2003 to 2014. She later got engaged to filmmaker Eric Bilitch, with whom she has two children, Vera Audrey (born 2016) and Theodore Kubrick (born 2018)​.
