Read first: the images in the gallery are not able to be precisely reproduced due to the use of reference ControlNets, sorry!

This checkpoint performs best at a lower CFG scale, try 3-6 on initial gens, you can bump it up during post to get finer details.

ControlNet references are your friend, they will help a lot with the quality of your gens using this checkpoint. Hires fix is a must, start with a lowres gen (640x384, 384x640, 512x512) and 2x hires, if you need further detail, simply send to img2img on a low denoise.

Really wanted a flat animation style, some fusion between anime and western animation, there are some really good examples of either side on Civit, so I thought I'd merge a few and see what happened.

The result is this difficult-to-use checkpoint that needs to be coaxed a little to produce nice results, but is capable of some really nice gens.

It is capable of producing pure anime, a more western style, and a nice fusion of the two depending mostly on the use of particular negative embeddings.

Mistoon_Amethyst by Inzaniak (Add a drop of western animation)

ink-prt by Yuno779 (Just a hint, helped a lot with the lines)

CuteYukiMix by newlifezfztty761 (I know, I know. This checkpoint gave by far the best result in improving the color which had become drab though)

Manmaru Mix by pawapawa (This was already pretty close to the style I was going for, and it tied everything together nicely in the final couple of merges)

AingDiffusion by kayfahaarukku (The last two checkpoints created an unfortunate bias towards younger subjects, which was to be expected I suppose, I experimented with weights of this model and it helped tremendously, you should still prompt accordingly to avoid questionable gens)

Final note: I have not tested this with ????, or character lora, I have no interest in either of those subjects, try it out, I wish you all the best.
