Bismarck Battleship

Bismarck was the first of two Bismarck-class battleships built for the Kriegsmarine. Named after Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, the ship was laid down at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg in July 1936 and launched in February 1939. Work was completed in August 1940, when she was commissioned into the German fleet. Bismarck and her sister ship Tirpitz were the largest battleships ever built by Germany, and two of the largest built by any European power. After a short career, including sinking of the Royal Navy battlecruiser HMS Hood, Bismarck herself was sunk; out of a crew of over 2,200 men, only 114 survived. As such, please treat this one with respect.

A follow up to Warspite, this one's been trained at a much higher resolution and seems to behave better (hurray!). I'd still stick to oil painting styles, but I'm not your boss so you do what you want.

Due to the ships rather brief history and circumstances surrounding her, there's not many real life photos available. I've used (and colorized) what I could find, but the rest are from various sims in which she appears. Getting the camo scheme to work was a non-starter, and I've removed as many detailed pictures of that symbol and that flag as possible. A plain red ensign might appear on the mast, but do let me know anything bad pops out with the provided prompts. Please don't force it and post it at me, because I will report you 😊. Works around 0.80 to 0.90 pretty well.
