Bill S. Preston, Esquire

Bill S. Preston, Esquire, is one of the two main characters in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, played by Alex Winter. He is a fun-loving, easygoing teenager who, alongside his best friend Ted "Theodore" Logan (played by Keanu Reeves), is on a mission to pass their high school history class. Bill is the more expressive and slightly more optimistic of the two, often exclaiming phrases like "Excellent!" or "Whoa!" in a carefree, enthusiastic manner. He has a strong sense of friendship and loyalty, and while not particularly academically inclined, he has a great deal of charm and heart.
