Authoritarian Architecture (AD)

This lora creates cities and buildings of an authoritarian style. Not to be confused with brutalism, an authoritarian style is one based off of planned utopian and grand style cities that were thought of and mostly never built by communist, fascist, and dictatorian societies over the past 140 or so years. The planned cities and buildings included brutalist styles for sure, but also included buildings that used sandstone, limestone, marble, and other related materials. In some cases materials like brass, bronze, and gold are used in some way. The concrete usual comes in white, warm and neutral grey, and a tan. Though some concrete and other materials would be colored differently with popular colors like red, blue, and different shades of tan and yellow.

The cities often invoked past styles like the Roman Empire, militaristic buildings, and so on. Some styles also copied off of popular styles of the time, only done on a larger scale and in a related style. A planned redesign of Moscow for example included buildings based off the Empire State building but on a larger scale. Only one of the buildings was made, the University of Moscow.

Besides invoking the past and making better popular styles of the time, the things that makes an authoritarian style stand out is the grand monumental size of the buildings. For example, the hotel Prora that if finished would of stretched nearly five miles in length. The Palace of the Soviets in Moscow that would of stretched above the clouds with a statue of Joseph Stalin taller than the Statue of Liberty. A set of super tall arcologies set over the ocean to help with the over population problem in Asia. The Atlantropa project that was designed to dam off the entire Mediterranean sea to provide electricity to all of Europe while providing more farm land on the former sea bed. The large buildings are meant for servicing the people while also controlling the people of the nation. They give a sense of awe and majesty for their size and audacity of design and effort. The presence of the large buildings, whether it be a massive government building or a skyscraper much thicker and taller than the normal ones, gives a sense of intimidating presence.

The lora works well from a weight of 0.5 to 1. At 1 the images made are heavily to the authoritarian style and can make images that would either look like fantasy or science fiction depending on the checkpoint used. At 0.5 it looks like a good mix between a realistic scene and an authoritarian style. A good balance is one from 0.65 to 0.85.
