Like hesitation and regret embedded in the soil, silhouettes shaped like humans appeared one by one. No shadows lay beneath their feet. Only a chilling aura seeped outward. The girl spoke no words. No wavering existed in her gray eyes. As a single petal slipped from her fingertips— their footsteps echoed in a low, subtle rumble.
