The Refuge of the Abandoned House In the small village of Vale dos Ventos, everyone knew the house on top of the hill. It was an old mansion, with dusty windows and an unkempt garden. No one dared to approach after the last resident, a lonely gentleman named Edgar, disappeared without a trace.

One October night, a group of friends decided to explore the mansion. There was a mix of curiosity and challenge in the air., and everyone wanted to see if the stories were true. Ana, Lucas, Marta and Pedro were the bravest and were determined to discover what was hidden inside the house..

When they arrive, a thick fog enveloped the hill, creating an even darker environment. The front door was ajar, creaking slowly in the wind. They came in with flashlights and cameras, laughing nervously as they explored the cobwebbed and dust-covered foyer.

They climbed the creaking stairs and went to the upper floor.. Leaves, found rooms covered in white sheets, as if someone had tried to protect the furniture from dust. But something caught Ana's attention: an antique mirror in one of the rooms was covered by a red velvet curtain. The mirror was in perfect condition, contrasting with the rest of the house.
