Jane Wiedlin is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actress. She is best known as the rhythm guitarist and one of the founding members of The Go-Go’s, the first all-female band to achieve widespread commercial success by writing and performing their own songs. Wiedlin is also recognized for her solo music career and unique contributions to the punk and new wave movements.
