Since I was a child, I grew up in a small community full of nature. The green spaces around my house were where my friends and I would run around. The clear river used to be our place to sit and relax in the evenings. But as time went by, I began to notice more and more trash being thrown into the river and around the community. That trash turned the once clear river into a muddy brown color and made our once relaxing area less pleasant. One day, I decided that I would not let this destroy the home I loved. I started collecting trash I saw, whether it was in the river, on the roadside, or in the park near my house. Even if it was just a small plastic bag, I picked it up and threw it in the right place. I did this not just because I wanted the area to be cleaner.
