I'm using it for fantasy characters and landscapes, but works in modern setting as well (might be even better there).
My settings:
for landscapes: 1536 x 864 with 1.25x HiRes fix (to get 1920 x 1080),
for portraits: 896 x 1152 with HiRes fix on 1.5x.
for rest: 1024 x 1024 also works.
Sampler DPM++ 3M SDE Karras at 40 steps, works with 20-80.
