Ashley Judd is an American actress and political activist, born on April 19, 1968, in Granada Hills, California. She comes from a family of performing artists, being the daughter of country music singer Naomi Judd and the half-sister of Wynonna Judd. Ashley's acting career began in the early 1990s, and she has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including "Double Jeopardy," "Kiss the Girls," and "Star Trek: The Next Generation." In addition to her acting career, she is known for her humanitarian efforts and political activism.
