Background: Kaylen grew up in a swamp nestled town called Duskbranch--a place where the canopy and foliage is so thick, the lighting gives it a perpetual twilight cast. The same shallow land created a festering issue for bodies could not be buried there. With Duskbranch being intolerant on burning the dead, the ?s began to resurface and rot. Disease soon spread and Kaylen's family feel victim to the illness. She absolved to bury them properly and not allow the ground to reject them. She searched endlessly until she found a choice ground capable of giving them permanent rest. Word of her discovery soon reached the town and the townsfolk began to ferry their dead to Kaylen. The cemetery blossomed under her care, and she found the need to see it guarded and staffed by handpicked individuals. As each body was laid to rest new life grew in the form of purple willow trees. Kaylen's exposure to them gradually changed her and began a fixation in claiming the dead for her expanding garden.
