Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was very saddened by the death of Hazrat Abel

Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was very saddened by the death of Hazrat Abel. The death of Hazrat Abel, which was the first murder, was a severe shock to Hazrat Adam. He was not only saddened by the death of his son but also deeply regretted that his second son, Hazrat Qaabil, became the murderer of his brother out of jealousy and anger. Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) prayed to Allah and sought forgiveness for his son Hazrat Abel. He was deeply saddened by the tragic end of his son and suffered from grief for a long time. Hazrat Abel's death caused deep sadness and sorrow for humanity in Hazrat Adam's heart.
