We consider that the concept of nation was not present in the Republic . First, We identified a lack of popular representation of indigenous people and peasants, This is because the oligarchy controlled the political system almost completely., and did not allow them the right to participate in decision-making.. Second, We observed that there was no recognition or value from the oligarchic elite towards the cultural diversity of Peru. They made no effort to integrate the different ethnic and cultural groups in the country., which affected the consolidation of our nation.
