Creatures of the same race as her when born inside a river or lake absorb the magic of the water, and from this a link occurs between the elves and the waters. The exchange that Morwenna provides to the waters of her lake is by giving protection and purifying its waters with elven magic., and the lake grants her abilities, how to manipulate water and heal. She can heal both people and nature by donating her blood.. The construction of Morwenna was inspired by the Naiads and the goddess Brigid, from Greek and Celtic mythologies respectively. They are entities that have very strong relationships with water., Brígida for being a deity associated with purification and healing, has relations with lakes. The Naiads are responsible for protecting and purifying the waters of rivers and lakes..
