Made for an anime style of clothing worn by humans in the Stone Age and Ice Age

You can change the styling to Winter or Summer by specifying the length of dress, season and age:

Short dress/ Long dress : Summer Season/ Winter Season : Prehistoric Stone Age/ Prehistoric Ice Age

Adding "(insert animal) print" also works well. EX: Zebra-print fur prehistoric dress

I find that the style tends to be more accurate by adding "High Neckline, Fur Trim, loose fitting" descriptors to the dress tag.

As humanity began to spread across the earth, the invention of clothing was one of the greatest advancements, allowing us as animals to spread beyond our natural habitat and survive in various climates and time periods. Evidence of clothing is also found in other human species like neanderthals and denisovans, who also interbred with homo sapiens, genes which exist in us today.

The earliest clothing was made from the skins of animals, worn loosely draped over the body. It is hypothesized that humans were able to out compete the other species in part because finer finger dexterity allowed for sewing, letting us adjust clothing and make warmer or cooler clothing as we expanded and climates changed.

During hot and dry interglacial periods like the stone age and humid period of the Sahara, loose clothing protected hairless humans from the harsh sunlight and abrasive environment, while providing an insulative cushion of air underneath. During the frigid Ice Ages, tighter fitting pants, sleeves and foot coverings protected from windchill and frostbite.

Interestingly, adornments like jewelry, embroidery and tattoos can be seen from early on and in Neanderthals too. Despite not really serving a survival purpose, it seems that people have a need to showcase their identities and personality intrinsically.
