"Viva Madrid Bar: Spirit and Art"
I captured the vibrant essence of Madrid on this canvas. Using oil paint, I captured not only the architecture, but also the spirit and warm atmosphere of its streets. The impressionistic technique, combined with realism, brings every detail to life, transporting the viewer to the heart of the city and filling every living space with the dynamism and joy that defines Madrid.
In this work, "Viva Madrid," this typical bar, located next to Plaza de Santa Ana and in front of the actors' exit of the Spanish Theater, preserves its historic bar and its mythical tiles dating back to 1856—an architectural gem of the time. In front of the bar, an old man sits on a chair, looking into the camera. Black and white photograph from 1960.
