Been using various samplers with success, typically with 40 steps. CFG scale from 4 to 7. ADetailer not recommended for portraits, but could be for scenes where faces are quite small.

This model is the result of a merge of a few iterations of merging a model into Digital Life V1.2, then merging the original model back in, rinse and repeat a few times. Here are the models that were used:
