Finally, strengthen yourselves in the Lord and in his strong power. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may stand firm against the snares of the Devil, for our struggle is not against human beings, but against the powers and authorities, against the rulers of this world of darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly regions. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, so that you can resist in the evil day and remain unshaken, after you have done everything. So stand firm, girding yourselves with the belt of truth, wearing the breastplate of righteousness, and having your feet shod with the readiness of the gospel of peace. Also, use the shield of faith, with which you will be able to erase all the fiery arrows of the Evil One. Wear the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
