As I took another step, awestruck by the beauty of it all, I suddenly felt a breeze swirling around me, plucking at my skirt and blowing my hair about my shoulders. The breeze felt very strong, yet the curtains and sheer counterpane were unruffled by it. It seemed that the breeze was only meant for me--perhaps as punishment for entering such a magnificent room? I turned to leave, but the breeze blew the doors shut--and then abruptly stopped blowing. I ran to the doors and tried to open them, but the knobs refused to turn. I was locked in. I turned back to the room, brushing a stray curl from my face as I did so.

A stray curl? My hair hadn’t been curled before.
