Air Commodore (Posthumous) Ignatius Dewanto (born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 9 August 1929 — 1970) was an Indonesian military figure. Ignatius Dewanto was born to a devout Catholic couple, M. Marjahardjana and Theresia Sutijem in Kalasan, Yogyakarta. The owner of 16 Service Stars, his name has been immortalized as the name of the "Graha Dewanto" Auditorium at Iswahyudi Air Base, Madiun. And the name of the air base in Koopsau III Range, I.G Dewanto Air Base in Saumlaki, Tanimbar Islands, Southeast Maluku. He is also the only TNI-AU fighter pilot to shoot down an enemy plane to date using a P51 Mustang aircraft.
