The glow of the streetlight cast a yellow hue onto the damp city street. A light rain had just passed, and the air was thick with mist. Standing beneath the tall lamppost was a large walrus wearing a black bow tie and top hat. His whiskers twitched as he gazed up at the light, the yellow glow reflecting in his dark round eyes. Though he was far from his icy ocean home, he did not seem lost or afraid. The walrus leaned on his walking cane, blinking calmly, while the traffic on the busy street roared past him. His polished black shoes tapped along with the music from a jazz club down the road. He seemed content in this odd scene, a gentleman walrus taking an evening stroll through the rainy city, not concerned by the strange looks from passerby. The walrus checked his pocket watch, the chain attached to his waistcoat, and continued on into the night.
