The corrupted region spread like a festering wound over the earth. Once lush and vibrant with life, it was now a grim testament to decay and darkness. The air was thick with the stench of decay, suffocating any remaining traces of vitality. Dead plants and trees covered the landscape, their withered forms twisted and contorted as if in agony. Where verdant forests once thrived, now only skeletal remains reached the dark sky, their branches twisted and devoid of foliage. The ground itself seemed to writhe with corruption, the ground was blackened and infertile, devoid of any sign of life, there were monsters taken over by corruption, their origins unknown.
