IN A HORNET’S NEST Stuck in a circular nonsensical cycle That I keep finding myself within the circle And the drain I continue to circle Completely ensnared and utterly entangled in a pickle Life has totally turned to a sickle Piercing and cutting my nerves in physical Leaving me in a state purely whimsical Realizing mess possibility but unable to get critical It's crystal clear that I've turned full circle With nostalgic feelings for the past used to sparkle In two's and three's tears begin to trickle Writhing with pain for every minute my heart does crackle Heavy burdens in unison overweigh; making me buckle Wanting to eliminate me leaving not even a particle It's depressing when I think about this nudging vexatious vesicle And dizzy for everything spins around in a manner that's spherical Paths to every option blocked by an obstacle Troubles overlap in high intensity; no motivation to tackle Depression lowers my confidence several feet below the vertical And my soul too weak trapped in a world so fickle.
